The 'original' is always the best

Greenhills will always be,for me, one of the best shopping malls. Cheap bargains, many choices and it's near my place. It's a lil bit crowded (esp. during weekends) but at least it still has the ambience of a mall. I've been there a lot of times but it was only last week that I had the chance to really go around and check the new 'sites.' I am referring to the Promenade, parking lots both located in Connecticut and Annapolis side. It's now different, I have to admit. I felt suffocated after. It's not anymore the 'greenhills' that I grew up to where there's just a two-story building full of tiangge stores then once you step outside, it's a big parking lot which at night can also serve as tambayan (while eating ice cream -- I just forgot the name of the resto that has basketball as a theme). Greenhills today is still the 'original' greenhills. But for me, I still prefer how it looked like 2 years ago. That's just me...

low-tech

I bought a new phone, in addition to what I'm using right now, last Tuesday. I wasn't really looking for the newest model (been there, done that!). My simple requirements are: that I'll be able to send SMS and be able to call, that it has an alarm, calendar and that it has to be small -- to fit in my jeans pocket. So I settled for an 8210 Nokia. I was really eyeing for an 8250 but it has similar features yet the price difference is around P800. I'm satisfied with my purchase. I just hope it'll lasts.

Happy weekend

It's Saturday and back to my 'normal' life. That means seeing my family again and being with ahme! Mornings are spent in school but it's okay. I like my subject and the prof is good-looking (hehe) and I don't have asshole classmates so that doesn't irritate me at all.

Yesterday, my department had dinner at Good Earth. I think I was so excited that I dreamt of their green iced tea :-) (the dessert wasn't great though)...I even had problems with my car on my way to the office and also with my shoes but I dont' know. I guess life has its way of balancing things.

I plan to visit a good friend who just gave birth. Yep, another godchild in my list!

So happy weekend guys...the weather is perfect for cuddling and sleeping!!!!!
