May Escapades

Everytime I visit my blog, I tried to make this entry however the months of May and June were truly toxic for me as I had to prioritize more important things (read: work-related matters) before I go.

Splash Island
Memorable moments…

(1) I was together with my mom and Christian in an out-of-town trip. It’s our first time to be three-gether and I never imagined that it will be in Splash Island.
(2) Christian immediately said yes when I mentioned of the invitation. Thanks to my sis’ family day affair as everything was for free – the food, drinks, entertainment, rides and most of all --- the ICE CREAM!!!
(3) My first time to ride those slides and on inner tubes. From afar I thought it was an easy ride and that people are just over-reacting. But nooooo, I myself kept on screaming. The same kind of feeling when I’m in a roller coaster.
(4) I was so glad that Christian agreed to ride with me in Rio Montanosa. It means so much to me knowing that he hated it.
It was just a day trip for us and before we left, we made sure to get our tattoos. I would really love to show you our pics however, after having them printed the files were deleted. Strange huh??!!!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

This is the last of my summer escapades...a visit to Verde Island in Batangas with co-workers. Thank you to Cathy, the one in green shirt, who arranged this trip. We are now officially called, "THE BIG FOUR." From the original 13, the four of us were the only ones who finally made it! I never imagined that a two-day one-night outing will turn out to be one of my most unforgettable 'gimiks.' I truly believe in the saying, "It's the people you're with that matters" because there's really nothing spectacular in this resort that you can't find in other resorts. Now, I leave it up to you to guess who's who:
(1) an agent on a mission (kaya may Mission Impossible picture)
(2) the vocal lead of the Aegis Band (the voice from from six-feet under)
(3) another Aegis band member (back up to the lead singer)
(4) snorkling diva (seeing her digicam 'drowning'...thanks to that big wave)

Priceless

I am currently in the gym, working out of course, after two weeks of no exercise (except for walking). I'm in my first workout and I'm sweating all over. Good there's internet access and since I have all the time, and I repeat ALL THE TIME, I can take a break once in a while from my workout.

As I arrive in Makati this morning, I decided to walk along Ayala Avenue. It's been years since I've done it. Of course I used to walk around this long path but the difference this time, is that I am on my leisurely walk...as in I take time to look at the buildings facade and I even tried the different underpass. Now is the time when I dont care whether I'll get out on the different side of Ayala :-) People were walking past through me, in a hurry, and I just can imagine those behind me saying, "Akala mo namamasyal sa Baywalk."

I'll have late lunch after, meet a friend and get some updates. Yesterday I was in another mall, had lunch with my parents (since both are retired), strolled and had coffee (with my feet on top of the chair). It really feels great not to be conscious of the time...not thinking that I have to be in this place at this time doing this. I simply didnt care at all!

Oh, time to go back...hopefully tonight I get to blog my travels lately and upload some pics as well.

No work and more play

I am officially unemployed as of today ...but that's by choice. I've started cleaning my room yesterday -- arrange files and clothes. But I'm not yet done. I listed all my things to do while I am not doing any work, one of which is to update you on my latest trips out of town and country, -- rare opportunities!!!

Woohooo...ang sarap. Just today, I woke up at 10am, watched the TV and planning to go to the mall later :-)

What a feeling!!!
