Braving Milenyo
After sharing my story below, it did not end there. It was near lunch time when everyone in the department decided to eat out. We tried calling for delivery but it will take another two hours while other fastfoods are not into delivery because there is no electricity.
It was raining hard and the wind was howling but who cares? Paseo Center is just a building away and there's the underpass which is of course safe from the wind and rain.
We were just wearing our jackets and also didnt bother to bring umbrella. It's useless -- we might even look stupid bringing one knowing that it will fold up once we open it. We were successful in reaching the place. Though there was no electricity, we were still able to eat while we were enjoying the sight of branches of tress falling , garbage cans flying and coffee shop umbrellas and chairs going around.
To make it short, we were trappedd inside. Four of my co-workers started crying --they were so scared since they saw the glass window break into pieces. In my mind, I was waiting for ALL the glass windows to break. Isnt it cool? Just like in he movies :-)
When we noticed that the wind was starting to die down, we braved the storm. Yes, we were ALL wet...ariived in the office dripping all over. But we still managed to take our picture.
